Energy Assistance Appointment Scheduling The State of Illinois has set eligibility priority periods as to who may apply for energy assistance. On October 1, 2024 households who have a household member that meets one of the following criteria may schedule an appointment for energy assistance. Please mark how your household qualifies to schedule an appiontment: Household includes a member that is age 60 or older. Household includes a member who is disabled and drawing permanent disability. Household that has a child age 5 or under. None of the above.
